Launch of the project
Sustainable Accounting, Economic, Finance and Management Education

On December 12, 2024, UVT hosted the official launch event of the project Sustainable Accounting, Economic, Finance and Management Education (SUSTAIN-ACE), ID: 2024-1-RO01-KA220-HED-000 255610, at the Institute for Advanced Environmental Research (ICAM), bringing together academics, business leaders, public administrators, NGOs, and students for a day of dialogue and collaboration. Through strategic partnerships with universities across Europe, SUSTAIN-ACE aims to bridge the gap between academia and real-world challenges, developing future-ready curricula, digital learning platforms, and hands-on training programs.
Together, we are building an educational ecosystem that responds to global sustainability demands—equipping students, educators, and professionals with the knowledge and tools to drive meaningful change.
Below are highlights from the launch event, featuring key speakers, interactive sessions, and the beginning of a continent-wide collaboration for sustainable education.

• Collaboration with the business environment, public administration and NGOs: The project will facilitate partnerships between universities and companies, public institutions and NGOs, ensuring that students acquire the necessary skills to respond to current economic and social challenges.
• Involvement of teaching staff: Teaching staff of the partner universities will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and focus groups, with the aim of improving their teaching skills by integrating concepts related to sustainable development in the curriculum.
• Student engagement: SUSTAIN-ACE will provide students with hands-on learning opportunities through participation in real projects, thereby stimulating their commitment to sustainable education.
